Identification of native bovine races of Azuay: morphometric characterization

In order to identify and describe the possible native bovine races of the province of Azuay, its similarities and differences with the main races introduced in the area, 1,772 productive units (livestock) will be characterized, in the 15 cantons of the province of Azuay, in these information will be lifted through surveys of the productive, reproductive, sanitary and manure parameters of the managing of cattle; In addition, the linear morphometric characters will be evaluated in a cow (1,772), hip height (ACD), thoracic perimeter (pto), hip perimeter (PCA), body length (LCO), sneeked width (agr), thorax width (ATO), perimeter of the cane (PCA) (Lgr), length of the head (LCA), head width (ACA), tail length (loc), tail thickness (GCO); Zoometric indices: cephalic (ICE); Thoracic (ITO); Bodily (ICO); Corporal-lateral (ICL); Anamorphosis (Ian); Pelvian (IEP); Thoracic dactyl (IDT); Costal Dactil (IDC); Transverse pelvian (IPT); Longitudinal pelvian (IPL): faneros; Layer color (fur); Number of hair colors; Fur form; Mucous coloration; Pygmentation of the hooves, it should be noted that the animal to be sampled will be a multipara female (between 2-6 deliveries), age between 3-8 years, with a body condition of 2.5 to 3.5 (1-5 scale). In livestock that have more than one breed of animals, a sample will be taken for each of them. Information systematization will be carried out through the Microsoft Excel program and data processing, through the SPSS statistical package. 95%confidence intervals will be applied, in the case of variables with normal problems, the interval between the 2,5 and 97.5 percentile will be considered. The Data Mining technique will be used for the determination of the existence or not of local breeds of the territory. Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests will be applied, Shapiro Wilk Homogeneity of Matrices of Variance Covariance: M Box. Correlation matrix of the variables in the detection of multicolinerality. Statistical reading will be about the results of the covariance and correlation matrix of Pearson, U Statistics (Lambda de Wilks), m of box, coefficient table of the discriminant function, structure matrix, classification table of classification results, table of own values (eigenvalue), reading of the territorial map. Finally, a bietapic cluster will be applied, the statistical tests that will be applied for the comparison of the averages obtained on the statistics of the generated clusters are: Anova (variance analysis), for quantitative variables, 5% significance, and determination of Duncan tests and significant minimal difference. In the case of populations with distributions other than the normal distribution, the use of the ANOVA through the Kruskal Wallis (non -parametric) test.
