Description

The so -called VLIR 5 "Project towards the integrated management in tropical mountain areas: the problem of sediments in the Paute River basin, Ecuador" deals with the study and in -depth evaluation of the various erosive processes presented by the Hydrographic Basin of the PAute River, which in certain areas generate sediments that reach a rate of up to 300 t/ha. This project seeks to identify the best techniques to reduce and control this sediment production by properly, technical and integrally to the entire basin.
