Space Data Infrastructure Working Group - Advances in Research and Development in IDE's

The matures of the IDE platform is based on the possibility of exploitation of the information and the corresponding integration of geoinformation with different characteristics. This document recounts the road map for the working group that pursues objective 1 with the deliverables described in the project presented to CEDIA within the GT IDE and that mainly seeks to increase knowledge about the information integrated by means of cutting -edge methodologies related to increasing semantic knowledge to information. Therefore, research in relation to the use of metadata generation tools and the use of semantic enrichment techniques are key to this objective. Likewise, it is intended that the information integrated into the IDE can be exploited with different forms of representation among which are displayed in 2.5D and 3D, in addition to experimentation with the Google Glass as a means of exploitation of said information. One last point seeks forms of experimentation with integration of images taken from drones that improve the visualization of said information in 2.5 or 3D.
