Description

The stressful factors and its relationship with coping strategies in adolescents in the city of Cuenca, will study the stressful events presented by school students, as well as the coping strategies they demonstrate to the problems. The methodology will be quantitative, for which two stress assessment instruments and coping styles such as are: the "Lifestay" Lifestyle and Durán and Durán and the coping scales of Frydenberg and Lewis, adapted for the Spanish medium by Pereña and Sixdesses; As well as a brief demographic questionnaires. The design will be retrospective, correlational transverse type. The exhibition will be contained by adolescents from schools in the city of Cuenca, between 15 and 19 years of age. For the application of the instruments, the sample will be stratified by the denomination of each center, according to the statistical criteria that allow the population to be represented. The results of the investigation, through the theoretical interpretation of the analyzed constructs will be disseminated to the city's schools, to publicize the situation of the adolescent problems in the areas studied, as well as the design of an intervention proposal that could be developed later.
