Project Details
Description
In recent years, the use of mobile devices and applications and services available on the Internet has grown, especially with the Covid-19 pandemic, in the labor, educational field, of obtaining services and leisure (Li et al., 2021) causing a serious health problem: cyber-confidence (Dishkova & Papancheva, 2019). This excessive use of mobile devices has caused changes in user behavior and has generated many health problems to a population sector (Katsumata et al., 2022). In this project, a sample of the population of university students in Cuenca will be evaluated using widely known forms in the field of psychology to know their dependency status with mobile devices (Interovics et al., 2008). It is intended to develop software tools and use a certain type of hardware to collect information from the selected population, and thus help in the diagnosis of cyber -confidence. In addition, primary intervention can be carried out to help those who have been detected with cyber -confidence to control the health problems derived from cyber -relief. Also, it will help to determine which mobile applications are the most used by the population under study, and measure the impact it causes on academic performance cyber -confidence. Finally, as part of the process, the effectiveness and efficiency of the use of some technological tools by the population under analysis will be determined to determine the level of support that can be provided against these problems.
