Description

According to the legislation in force in Ecuador, the regulation, control and sanction of the use and occupation of the land in the territory of the canton, in which several actors are involved, which entails a great responsibility, being an important issue to investigate, for all the consequences it has generated for years are involved. The objective of this work is to evaluate urban planning plans through the use of LIDAR technologies and geographical information systems, in order to establish whether or not the legal determinations of the land use and occupation ordinations contemplated in these plans are met and in case these determinations are not met, establish why they are not met. In Ecuador few are the studies on this subject that aim to study urban law. The present work proposes to cover this lack in order to operationalize the monitoring phase of the plans. The investigation will be carried out in two sectors that Senplades has defined as a planning zone 6.
