Description
EVOCAS OF ESTIIJE activate the challenge of operating water resources systems in situations of risk of water shortage, which could lead to damages to the different sectors of the population from the environmental, social and economic point of view. The development of methodologies that help water management in times of shortage offers a good support to make decisions regarding the supply of the resource to cover in a sustainable way the different demands today and in the future and also provides the opportunity to obtain planning measures when there is not enough water availability. Thus, the present project is focused on being a continuation of the line of analysis of water resource systems analysis by evaluating future scenario methods to simulate the risk of water supply failure in times of stroke. The multipurpose system of the Machágara River basin will be taken as a case study. The results of the project are intended to serve the scientific community through the realization of a publication and also serve the local actors for water sustainability by planning measures to mitigate the epochs.
