Project Details
Description
The project will generate a multidisciplinary analytical framework for the study of non -motorized mobility and its relationship with public space. It will be applied in the city of Cuenca and will be extrapolated to other intermediate cities in the region. It contains three axes: a) Methodological: Create a set of methodologies, tools and technological platforms for the collection, analysis and visualization of non -motorized mobility data. B) Behavioral: Understand the spatial behavior of people's mobility patterns and their relationship with the urban environment. C) Perceptual: Relate the perceptions that people have over the environment and about themselves in relation to their form of mobility. Approaches will be integrated from geography, urbanism, social psychology and computer science. The results of the project will contribute to knowledge about mobility in Cuenca and will serve as support for decision making on sustainable mobility for EMOV.
