Description
The research project: "Study of school violence in pairs in schools in the city of Cuenca" aims to identify the factors that generate the motivations and the various manifestations of school violence - Bullying in pairs in the schools of the city of Cuenca to explain the effects produced by school violence in the psychological, educational and social development of students. The problem of school violence is explained by asymmetric relationships and imbalance of forces that reproduce and express the power relations of the social, family context in school. Violence that manifests through blows, use of nicknames, insults, contempt, threats between colleagues, exclusion or social rejection, use of weapons in fights, sexual abuse. Qualitative research will be carried out within the framework of the following process: identification and construction of basic concepts that will guide the research process. Approach to institutions through land exploration, validation and application of research instruments. Information processing and analysis of information according to the objectives of research, triangulation and saturation of information for the writing and presentation of the final report. Preparation of the intervention proposal to contribute to the construction of a culture of peace in the school context, within the framework of the rights of children and adolescents.
