Project Summary: This research seeks to contribute to the theoretical reflection on the integration of the teaching of academic writing -scientific to the university curriculum, with the purpose of serving the implementation of relevant pedagogical proposals and institutional policies Living 2013-2017, which seeks to strengthen citizenship capacities and potentialities and, specifically, enhance the role of teachers and other education professionals through their training in "literacy processes, posalfabetization and digital literacy" (2013, 171), congruent with the need expressed in the academic regime regulations, to implement in all careers of the university level the training in communication in communication and languages The development of language and skills for oral, written and digital communication, necessary for the elaboration of academic and scientific speeches and narratives "(2013, 18). In this study, it will secrastate the hypothesis that, particularly in the case of the subject" Economic Research "of the Economics career of the University of Cuenca, through the application of didactic sequences of academic reading and writing based on the theory of socio -social Of the genres, the learning of said subject is enhanced, in addition to the positive effects on the management of academic language as a communication tool. This interdisciplinary proposal is part of one of the macroobjectives of the writing program that is to verify the didactic efficiency that comes from the application of the philosophy of the "writing through the curriculum" and "write to learn". For this, it is necessary to promote 5 appropriate observation fronts to the different areas: technical, social, human and health, with livelihood in a common theoretical and methodological framework
