Description
The current education system demands that the professional profiles of higher education teachers are at the same time with internationalization. Consequently, current higher education demands a multidisciplinary role by the teacher in which, the areas such as professional development, skills and attitudes play a preponderant role in the teaching -learning process. However, it is now known about how these aspects affect teaching practice. The present study aims to determine the impact of the aptitude, attitude and professional level of teachers of the University of Cuenca on academic performance. A mixed study will be carried out that will use as data collection instruments: surveys, focal groups and interviews with teachers and students from all academic units that make up the University of Cuenca.
