Project Details

Description

The objective of the project is to build an analytical framework that allows to define urban design criteria on the banks of the Tomebamba River, in which perspectives of the behavior and perception of the population are incorporated to reinforce the public dimension of the city. It will work in three axes: 1) Registration of uses, land occupation, behavior and perception of the population The study areas; 2) Characterization of spaces, integration, connectivity and pattern analysis; And, 3) Design solutions to build a public green network, which integrates the population and that enables the construction of a resilient city. As products a database will be built; A methodology of analysis and characterization of patterns will be proposed; The results will be disseminated through two scientific articles, a informative book and meetings with the decision bodies. The methodologies that will be used are innovative and will enable contributions to scientific knowledge.
