Description

This research project focuses on the analysis and development of creative stimulus techniques applied to problem solving design. These techniques are a set of plastic activities, lingu¨.stic, sensory, emotional and intuitive, which when systematized and applied in a project process increase creativity and innovation, which beyond helping the practice of design, transcends as a contribution to improve different daily activities. This project is mainly aimed at the students of the first cycles of the School of Design of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Cuenca, being an input for its academic training that strengthens the design methods, adding critical sense and artistic sensibility, typical of creative processes. Finally, research includes a theoretical study on creativity, specifically on the creative process, conceptual support that supports the development and application of these techniques in clearly described and registered practical exercises that also serve as a sample of the achievements achieved with the application of these techniques.
