Creation, implementation and management of a tourist indicators system of the Cuenca canton

The present research is the generation of four statistical newsletters to analyze the following points: a) Profile of national and international tourists, with variables such as: origin of the tourist, age, sex, education, visit motivation (type of tourism), attractive visited, purchasing power of the tourist and spending capacity; B) Tourism movement in national figures, c) Local tourism market with the following variables: hotel establishments and accommodation, hotel occupancy, number of national and international overnight stays according to the type of establishment, accommodation offer, lodging price according to the category, supply of food and analysis of the festivities of the Canton Cuenca; D) Tourist demand with the following variables: Demographic profile of the visitor, origin and reserves made and arrivals by air and land, evolution of local tourism and finally an analysis of the projections and plans of the tourism sector will be carried out.
