Description

In contemporary societies, drastic are produced in sexual education taught by traditional socializing instances (family, school and community) and, increasing Illegal, and, with different levels of interactivity that can go through visualization, virtual contact or sexual encounter; It is becoming the main "educating" instance through which adolescents build a decontextualized sexuality, with attitudes and behaviors of risk, sexist and violent that recent scientific evidence associates with the increase in sexual violence and gender violence against women. Sexting is an example of this environmental pornography, mediated by the technological revolution, to which adolescents are exposed and, according to the evidence, at an increasingly early ages with important gender differences. While there are interesting previous studies that help us understand the new pornography, in Ecuador and in particular in the Cuenca canton, research on this subject is still scarce, in this sense, we lack a diagnosis that allows us to know the current state and the relationship it keeps with sexual behaviors, sexual violence and gender violence. As a contribution to this knowledge vacuum, the research proposes to analyze the consumption of new pornography in adolescents of the Cuenca canton from a gender approach, and the relationship that keeps sex-affective behaviors, gender violence against women and sexual violence. The investigation has a mixed, quantitative and qualitative approach; It has an analytical scope, since it seeks to analyze the differences in the consumption of new pornography from a gender approach. The population under study is the adolescents of the Cuenca canton, defined as the population aged 12 to 18, according to the Code of Children and Adolescents (CNA). The temporal horizon contemplates the years 2020, 2021 and 2022. To comply with the objectives, the quantitative and the qualitative phase will be carried out in a first phase. In the quantitative, the information lifting will be carried out through the survey technique, a posterior, information is extracted in the virtual environment for which we will use computational learning techniques (Machine Learning), this information serves to contrast the survey results. On the other hand, in qualitative, the information lifting will be carried out through focal groups aimed at adolescents and interviews with key subjects, this information is useful for finding explanations to differences in pornography. The research will contribute with current and useful knowledge for local public policy designers focused on prevention.
