Description

Title: "Knowledge, beliefs, attitudes and sexual practices linked to HIV/AIDS, in the Seville Don Bosco parish." Morona Santiago 2017. Introduction: In Ecuador the prevalence of HIV/AIDS has had a strong increase, however this complex panorama is not resolved in the indigenous SHUAR communities of Ecuador, we must deepen studies related to knowledge, beliefs, beliefs, attitudes and sexual practices in communities of indigenous nationalities; Objective: Analyze the knowledge, beliefs, attitudes and sexual practices linked to HIV/AIDS, in the Seville Don Bosco parish. Morona Santiago 2017. Methodology: phenomenological qualitative study. Study population, is aimed at gathering information from members of the Shuar Ethnicity key informants who maintain contact with the study population. The sample will be A? Convenience: 40 patients between 12 and 50 years who go to the MSP Health Center of the Seville Don Bosco parish of the different communities with active sexual life, to complement the information, the opinion of health personnel members will be sought: doctors, nurses and epidemiologists. Discussion groups: 2 discussion groups will be formed between 18 and 50 years and 2 discussion groups between 12 and 17 years; Each group with eight or ten mixed participants. The data will be recorded, transcribed in Word as primary documents and then processed in the Atlas-Ti software. Expected results: It will serve as a baseline for the evaluation of interventions aimed at reducing the transmission of HIV/AIDS. The final investigation report will be presented to the public policy authorities.
