Description

Objective Identify the Helicobacter pylori in the gastric mucosa through the techniques of the PCR, Ureasa and Histology test and compare them, in patients with dyspepsia attended at the Vicente Corral M. Cuenca hospital. Material and methods It is an un controlled clinical study that will be executed in 50 patients who come to the external consultation of the Vicente Corral Moscoso hospital, diagnosed with dyspepsia through the criteria of Rome III. With the consent of the patients, the esophagostrodenendoscopy video will be executed and our gastric mucosa will be taken that will later serve to perform the following tests: Ureasa test, histological study with hematoxylein-eoosin and giemsa staining, and the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) that will identify some of the 4 gene Bacteria The study variables are the demographic age, sex, origin, type of water it ingests, the tests have been carried out as is the Ureasa test, the histology with its respective reading and the PCR. The results will proceed to collect in a previously designed form where the patient's data will be recorded, and the respective tests performed, the patients prior to the entry of the study must have complied with the criteria of inclusion and exclusion and voluntarily accepted to participate in study. The statistical analysis will be performed using the SSPS database, the calculator will be the EPIDAT, where the sensitivity, specificity, specificity, and predictive values will be determined. Conclusion. From the results, which of the tests is of better sensitivity and specificity to detect the Pylori Helicobacter in the gastric mucosa will be established.
