Project Details

Description

The study of the quality of life is a line of research that has generated a great scientific interest in being relevant for the planning of health prevention and promotion programs in adults with or without disabilities. Given the importance of the issue and the absence of empirical data in our country, a transverse descriptive investigation was designed whose general objective is to determine the psychosocial factors related to the quality of life of adults with physical disabilities, which reside in the Cuenca canton and whose ages are understood from 18 years onwards. The empirical data obtained in this research will contribute valid criteria for the decision making of public policies that are oriented to improve the quality of life of people disabilities from a psychosocial perspective. Since it is necessary to develop new strategies or incentives to promote their social inclusion
