Project Details
Description
Epilepsy, the stigma of suffering from it, the effects of therapy, myths and prejudices built around it in different cultures, affect the quality of life of patients who suffer from it. Since there are no studies on the subject in our environment, it is proposed to investigate the quality of life of patients over 16 years with epilepsy that go to the Regional Epilepsies Center "City of Cuenca" for a year, to based on the results obtained rethink their management and propose social, economic and health support strategies for the solution of their problems. The patient interview system will be used, and the Spanish version of the quality of life scale in epilepsy Qolie-31 will be applied as an instrument of valuation.
