Project: Research

Project Details

Description

• Explore the biodiversity of microorganisms present in native agroecosystems soils (located in the Ecuadorian Páramo region) to isolate microorganisms associated with the rhizosphere of indigenous agricultural varieties. • Preserve pure isolated in a collection of rhizospheric microorganisms of the Ecuadorian moor. • Evaluate the functions of isolated microorganisms from the point of view of their potential such as biofertilizers, phytostimulants and phytopathogenic biocontrollers. • Identify by molecular techniques the microorganisms that present the most suitable characteristics.
