Attention and prevention of violence in the Canton Cuenca

The program aims to study the different forms of manifestation of violence, with the impacts on a personal and family level, as well as the factors that favor the expression of violence (risk factors and protection). For this program we will address both interpersonal and self -inflicted violence once both forms of demonstration have a series of common aspects that interrelate them. One of the relevant aspects in our province is the impact of migration on the functioning of the family, negatively modifying their attitudes and in particular the effectiveness of the care that this body must provide to children and adolescents that develop in their in terror. These aspects are the basis for proposing forms of intervention with comprehensive approach and developing training strategies at the professional and community level, as well as mechanisms to improve the existing care system.
