Description
The implicit and explicit need to make the development and economic growth included all its facets of the increase in productivity, technological improvement and improvement of competitiveness in the international market, with the protection of the environment and its natural resources, species or biodiversity, entails the need to carry out planning processes that allow guiding the actions and criteria in terms of sustainable use of the territory. In this context, UNDP and SGR are working together with the Ecuadorian consortium for the development of advanced Internet (CEDIA) in the implementation of the vulnerabilities analysis project at the municipal level in Ecuador which aims to strengthen local capabilities in risk management. For this, it is expected that from the Faculty of Architecture a large database is generated for the incorporation of relative thematic information, in the first instance, to the urban planning plans that are developed in the Faculty, and then think of the information generated in different instances of the region related to the territorial management. This is intended to contribute to the UNDP SNGR CEDIA project, integrate information from the Faculty of Architecture in IDE Redcedia through the UCUENCA and incorporate teachers and students of the Faculty of Architecture in the use of the computer platform.
