Project Details

Description

The Water and Soil Management Program (PROMAS), conducts research and consulting in the Water Resources Management Area. For what is required to monitor certain parameters through the use of weather stations (around 130) distributed in an area of interest, extensive geographical, which includes from the boxes sector to the province of Cañar. Currently, the transmission of data from the weather stations to the Promas demands the displacement of personnel (there is no system that allows wireless or wireless transmission), which visits the stations with a periodicity of between 30 to 45 days. The use of latest generation wireless technology and adequate design can solve the problem above, allowing online transmission and drastically reducing delay. The main objective of this proposal is that the information generated by the stations has the least possible delay.
