Description

Cloud Computing represents a fundamental change in the way of building applications, allowing organizations to be able to offer services quickly and agile, in addition to guaranteeing an appropriate level of quality, cost and flexibility that meets their changing needs. The development of cloud applications generally follows an incremental approach, where, the integration of the services included in a software increase causes changes (reconfiguration) in the application architecture during its deployment. Cloud services can be deployed in hybrid platforms (private deployment cloud platforms belonging to the public access cloud and platforms provided by third parties) according to quality benefits or required costs; However, deployment platform suppliers demand the implementation of their standards, which hinders the portability and interoperability of cloud services between different platforms and add complexity to the task of materializing architectural changes in cloud applications. Therefore, to expedite the dynamic reconfiguration process of cloud architectures, it is necessary to deploy cloud services in an incremental way, without having a detailed knowledge of the standards of the different display platforms, or rewriting the code. The objective of this project is to improve the productivity of the incremental deployment process of cloud services on hybrid platforms, through the application of agile software development techniques. Specifically, it will be investigated how to deploy and integrate cloud services into an incremental hybrid platforms using the principles and practices established in the development of software directed by models. The high existing research activity on this subject demonstrates that the challenges raised in this project, as well as the proposed strategy to address the problem, are novel and try to respond to real needs in the industry.
