Analysis and definition of strategies and scenarios for the development of industrial maintenance systems oriented to energy efficiency and friendly in the city of Cuenca

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

New procedures for the development of maintenance techniques based on energy condition and reuse are fundamental elements such as indicators of the performance of energy efficiency plans and optimization of industrial processes. Important edges such as the incorporation of energy recovery processes, the evaluation of severity of failures and use of ICT for maintenance management, as elements that provide an integral vision of equipment conditions, just begin to be studied thoroughly. This project aims to develop in two main axes, on the one hand, it will lead to definition of possible scenarios for the reuse of waste oils, based on the chemical physical characterization of some types of residual oils generated by automotive and industrial maintenance establishments of the city of Basin using Energy efficiency oriented maintenance, and on the other hand, introduce the development of the research line in rotary equipment analysis techniques using data mining techniques and artificial intelligence, with special interest in the definition of strategies for the severity analysis of failures in industrial supervision systems. All this in order to analyze and characterize the scenarios and strategies of energy re-use and development of industrial maintenance systems as part of the main maintenance activities oriented to energy efficiency.
