Description
A field investigation is raised with communities of three differentiated cultures from the national territory: Shuar, Quichua and Manteña towards a contrast between the inequalities that suffer from their forced insertion in the capitalist system, with certain practices of diverse type that in different areas will be evaluated as alternatives to the prevailing development model. This contrast implies a certain change of perspective to the extent that it opens the possibility of observing alternatives precisely in sectors that have suffered and continue to suffer threat conditions towards their cultures, logical, worldviews. Precisely the limits that the capitalist model is showing through ecological and social crises, allows the revaluation of good practices of these cultures, while contributing to a proposal of good living for the Andean area. The investigation will work with both second -hand bibliographic, legal and quantitative materials, as will generate another of first -hand of qualitative and participatory nature with the leading actors in their territories. The result of this combines various sources and techniques that will show a wide range of information that, once interpreted, will be constituted as knowledge both for their use within these communities and abroad for the academic and citizen community that is in processes of reflection and construction of sustainable alternatives that counteract the negative consequences of the current socio-economic model. Products such as diagnoses, inequality indicators, systematization of areas of good life in community practices, as well as diverse articles are those most concrete of a study that aims to value practices, which despite its historical denial, are currently serious alternatives linked to balance with nature and best coexistence.
