Geostatist access and inference of meteorological parameters in graphic mode from automatic weather stations for the provinces of Azuay and Chimborazo.

The lack of national meteorological information has caused several university institutions to install and operate automatic weather stations throughout the country. It is necessary to create a tool that allows to share this information between institutions of higher education and other end users as well as infrastructure for graphic processing as part of a geographical information system, which is functional, efficient that presents information in almost real time for land use and meteorological of the provinces of Azuay and Chimboraz From this platform it is proposed to use free and licensed software tools, the main ones such as: IDE Netbeans, Arcgis, Geoserver, Postgis, which allows the user the possibility of interacting with meteorological data in a friendly way in a graphic way creating maps with reliability percentages. The project proposes the implementation of a geoportal to centralize the information from different weather stations in the provinces of Azuay and Chimborazo. Information extraction will be carried out from the databases formed by the data generated by the automatic weather and hydrometeorological stations installed in the province of Azuay and Chimborazo under direct responsibility or by agreements of the higher education institutions.
