Professor of Urban Planning and Theory and History of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of the University of Cuenca, Research Coordinator of the same faculty and General Editor of the Estoa Journal. PI of the CITMOV Research Group and the Cognitive Urbanism Network of Ecuador, an active member of the International Network of Studies on the Production of Space (RIEPE), Research Committee 21, and the CIVITIC Network of Urban Studies of Ecuador. Vice President of Research of the Network of Schools and Faculties of Architecture of Latin America (REFAL). I contribute to critical urban theory, the political economy of the global city, and cognitive cities. I have authored dozens of articles in scientific journals, national and international congresses, and unpublished translations.
