The Interdisciplinary Department of Space and Population (DIEP) was established in 2014 with the purpose of generating and disseminating scientific knowledge through the study of population interactions and relationships in a social and territorial environment.

Its interdisciplinary approach contributes to the construction of a more equitable and sustainable society. The DIEP is made up of 4 research groups: ECI, Kaleidos, LlactaLAB and PYDLOS, which contribute to scientific knowledge by analyzing the interactions of diverse social actors, combining theoretical reflection with methodological innovation.
